Programme-specific requirements

Your current location changes what you need to prepare.

Evaluation is mandatory for both programmes. India-based candidates must also prepare for lawful relocation and fund a blocked account covering at least six months. Germany-based candidates provide evidence of their lawful position and, when eligible, can receive guidance applying for Jobcenter-funded B2 training.

India-to-Germany

  • Currently living in India
  • Willingness to complete the agreed language and examination plan
  • Readiness to follow lawful visa, travel and relocation requirements
  • Ability to arrange and fund a blocked account covering at least six months
  • Ability to meet any personal expenses identified outside the signed programme agreement

Germany-Based

  • Currently living legally in Germany
  • Evidence of current residence and work-authorisation status where required
  • Willingness to complete the agreed language and examination plan
  • Willingness to consider suitable roles and locations
  • Readiness to continue applications and interviews throughout the programme term
Helpful evidence

Show the depth and context of your experience.

  • Recognised medical-coding certification or documented coding training
  • Experience working to quality and productivity standards
  • Clear examples of coding responsibilities and specialties
  • German-language learning already underway
What the checklist cannot do

It cannot make an admission or immigration decision.

The evaluation verifies evidence and reviews coding knowledge. German authorities independently decide visa and residence matters.

Assessment still applies

Meeting the listed requirements does not guarantee admission. The published minimum experience, certification and German-language requirements will be confirmed before applications open.
